Advocate. Initiator. Benefactor. Tough. Tenacious. Full of Faith. Dedicated. Leader. Altruist. Encourager
These are a few words used to describe me, a Georgia Peach native and a Middle Tennessee transplant. My name is Lucy W. Gallamore, and I am proud to be established as a certified minority-owned and woman-owned drug testing facility in the State of Tennessee. I strive to be a guiding light and shining example for People of Color and Women working in STEM programs.
I joined the drug testing field over 15 years ago, and there have been no plans of slowing down! I venture to say that I have become an expert in workplace drug testing, fingerprinting, specimen collection, breath alcohol testing, DNA testing, background screening, and many other services. What I enjoy most about my job is the opportunity to mentor, serve, problem-solve, and advocate, which keeps me motivated and working harder. I believe that success is embedded in providing excellent, individualized, and tailored services to each client.
I worked in this field for many years before my trusted mentor nudged me to pursue my own drug testing company. After some thought and an answered prayer, Universal Screen was born in October 2009 in Columbia, Tennessee. Determination, perseverance, and hard work, which I learned in my formative years growing up in rural Georgia, have allowed me to witness Universal Screen soar from one employee to numerous employees and contractors.
Spending time with my family, traveling, trail riding and mudding, advocating for racial and gender equality, and spending time with friends offer me so much Joy. I have been married for over 30 years to my Sweet Love, Robert. We are the proud parents of two daughters, two sons, and five grandchildren.
